Teaching is all going really well and i am seeing a great improvement in all my clients, i actually really enjoy building a relationship with the riders and horses and seeing them achieve their goals.

We had been working towards our first competition on 4th march and had ticked off the dressage practice, jumping at home and had even been xc schooling (even though was just combined training) This all fell through when The glorious english weather turned against me.... after getting freezing cold and soaking wet in the field poor ali didnt look very up for it and to be honest neither was i so i decided to be very mature and withdraw... after driving over to tell them, it was snowing by the time i got there..... i later found out the whole class withdrew!

We had a fantastic talk with a lovely Dengie rep this sunday, she weighed all our horses on a weigh bridge and checked their condition score, Alex weighed in at 609kg and celtic at 633kg, alex and celtic both condition scored well, Alex a 3 and celtic a 3.5 (he was a little porky but has been off work)

She happily reccomended a change to their diet to a higher fibre diet with added vits and mins.... leaving us with plenty of samples, i'll keep you updated with how they get on!!

Our next event is march 25th at BE100 plus followed by a riding club event the following week.... can't wait to get my super x country colours out and about!!

i have also been writing a blog for horsey hoodies along with some other fantastic riders... worth a read at
